Common questions

Can I print this on professional certificate paper?

Yes. The template uses A4 with print-safe margins. For premium printing (gold foil, embossing), Business plan adds CMYK color conversion and outlined fonts so the file works in any pro print pipeline.

Can I batch-generate certificates for a whole cohort?

Yes — on the Business plan, the REST API’s batch endpoint generates up to 1000 certificates in one call. Pass a CSV of recipient names and dates, get back one PDF per row.

Can I add my organization’s logo or seal?

Yes. The template supports a header logo via your organization’s brand kit, and you can drop additional images (seals, badges, watermarks) into any block.

Does this support QR code verification for authenticity?

Yes. The Advanced Certificate variant in the editor includes a QR code that links to a verification URL of your choosing — useful if you want recipients (or their employers) to verify the certificate is real.

Can I customize the borders, fonts and colors?

Yes. Brand colors and fonts apply automatically from your organization’s brand kit. Border styles are editable per-block — add a custom border style or background image to make it match your branding.

Is the recipient name field big enough for long names?

The name renders at 2em (about 32pt). Long names auto-wrap to a second line without breaking layout. For very long names, drop the font size in the block settings.

Can I generate certificates with custom dates per recipient?

Yes — every field including the date is a variable. Pass `recipient`, `achievement` and `date` as variables when you call the API, and each certificate is uniquely personalized.

Do certificates exported on the free plan have a watermark?

Yes, the free plan adds a small Quaterio watermark. Pro and Business plans remove it.
